Our hospital was originally established in 1978 as Lawson Veterinary Hospital by Russell C. Lawson, VMD. Dr. McAroy joined the practice in 1999 and took over in 2001, establishing Lowell Road Veterinary Center.  Dr. Carissa Sheeran joined the practice this year as our newest veterinarian.

Lowell Road Veterinary Center is equipped with the newest state-of-the-art equipment, including blood pressure measurement, dual-mode ultrasound, new updated state-of-the-art x-ray facilities, and a fully-equipped surgery suite utilizing some of the newest techniques in anesthesia and sedation. 

Boarding is permitted for current patients only, and medical staff is on 24-hour call for all pets boarding in the hospital facilities.

Dr. McAroy has been active in English Bulldog Rescue, and his staff is experienced in the conditions which affect this special breed.
